From an aesthetic and fun point of view, this light is just plain Awesome! This cool light inspired me to replace an old cheap 1960’s light fixture in a small bedroom, that I had been meaning to replace for years (decades?). Once installed, this light has a myriad of possible display options. The main center light has three different color-temperature settings (I liked the 3000K setting) and of course, it is dimmable. On its highest setting the main center light puts out a lot of light.However, the RGB Light Ring produces the most notable and dramatic display options. The RGB Light Ring can be set to any of 7 different solid colors. It also can be set to RGB ring dynamic mode, and I have included a video of the 7 RGB ring dynamic modes at their high-speed setting, with the main center light dimmed way down so the effect can be more easily appreciated. Also, the speed of each of the RGB ring dynamic modes is adjustable. The RGB Light Ring is also dimmable.If there is a main center light & RGB Light Ring setting that is preferred, keep the current settings for more than one minute, then turn off the wall switch for at least 10 seconds. The light will remember this setting and use it whenever the wall switch is turned back on.This was also probably the easiest light fixture I have ever changed out. I attached a picture of the installation instruction illustrations; Note that after the old fixture is removed, and the new base plate is installed on the existing junction box (two screws) there is a wire lanyard provided on the new fixture that clips to a loop on the new base plate. This allows the new fixture to be suspended hands-free while making the electrical connections. After the electrical connections have been made, the fixture just twists onto the base plate, and you’re done. Wire nuts are provided with the light, and they are first rate.I really like where I have installed this light, but it would be even better in a kid’s room. Kids would go nuts for it
